Outpost Cardiff, run by Christchurch Newport, presents 'Vintage Jesus'. It’s for students and 18-25's of any or no religious background to explore just who this bloke Jesus said he was, and what his life means.

Each Tuesday in O’Neills Pub on Trinity Street (see Directions&Map) you can expect a laid back evening. There’s a bar with good beer (can’t argue with a pint of Guinness can you?), and the opportunity to chat with your mates about all of the things that you have been thinking about – or perhaps never thought about at all!

During the evening we’ll show a short video by a guy called Mark Driscoll. He’s from the city of Seattle that, apart from the fact it’s on another continent, is very similar to the UK. Seattle is a very post-modern, young, vibrant city and yet Driscoll leads a church that has hundreds of tattooed, punk, passionate young people attending! He talks in a very frank manner that you’ll hopefully find refreshing. Each week we’ll show a different video where he’ll talk about things like: Is Jesus the only God; How human was Jesus; Did Jesus rise from the dead; Where is Jesus today; Why did Jesus’ mum need to be a virgin and other things!

You can come along and say nothing if you like, but if you do have any questions then there’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask them over a pint!
